History of Dallas Center of Excellence

A Legacy of Leadership and Impact

The Dallas Center of Excellence (COE) stands as a testament to visionary leadership, collaboration, and the enduring spirit of Jack and Jill excellence. Established under Regional Director Millicent Mitchell (2012–2016), the COE structure was designed to strengthen unity and elevate programming across the South Central Region.

Today, the Dallas COE, comprising 11 distinguished chapters across the Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex, continues to embody that purpose through collective impact and shared commitment. Together, these chapters have advanced our mission through signature events such as Children’s Cluster, Founders’ Day, and Jack and Jill Day. Each program reflects the power of mothers united in purpose.

In 2023, under the leadership of Regional Director LaShanda Reed-Larry (2023–2025) and COE Chair Dionne Williams, the Dallas COE made history by launching the first Jack and Jill debutante presentation in the area. While many local organizations have long celebrated young women through debutante ball presentations, and several Dallas COE chapters have hosted Beautillions for young men, there had never been a platform to present Jack and Jill young women to society.
